You Don’t Have to Grieve Alone: Join the Grief Support Group in Clare

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, numb, angry, heartbroken, or all of the above, after the death of someone you love, you’re not alone. Grief affects us deeply, but that pain doesn’t have to be carried in silence.

Starting in April 2025, a Grief Support Group in Clare is opening its doors to anyone grieving the loss of a loved one. Whether your loss was recent or years ago, whether you’ve spoken about it before or haven’t said a word, this space is for you.

A Safe Space to Talk, Listen, and Heal

This group isn’t therapy, and it’s not about “fixing” anything. It’s about being together with others who understand what grief feels like, without judgment or pressure. Whether you want to speak, sit quietly, cry, or simply listen, you will be welcomed with compassion.

Each meeting offers:

  • A quiet, supportive environment

  • Opportunities to share (only if you want to)

  • Comforting presence of others who “get it”

  • No expectations—just honesty, support, and care

There is something profoundly healing about being in a room where no one needs you to explain or pretend. Where your tears are welcome, and your silence is understood.

Why Join a Grief Group?

You may already have support from friends or family, but sometimes, grief needs a different kind of space. In a grief support group, there’s no need to be “strong” for anyone. You can speak your truth, or sit in silence, and both are equally welcome.

Over time, you may find that the simple act of showing up, hearing others, or being heard begins to lighten the weight you carry.

You Deserve Support

Grief has no timeline. Whether your loss is new or old, whether you’re managing well or barely holding it together, there is a place for you in this circle.

You do not have to face your grief alone. There is a community waiting to walk alongside you—one step, one Tuesday, one moment at a time.
